Abstract:
Taking an existing building glass curtain walls as the research subject, a large number of first?order natural frequencies of glass panels are obtained using a laser vibrometer, which serves as anevaluation index. Combined with theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results, the safety andserviceability status of the existing building glass curtain walls are analyzed and assessed. This paperproposes an evaluation plan that initially screens for abnormal dynamic characteristics of glass panelsbased on statistical probability methods, and then conducts a focused examination and confirmation of theserviceability status for the abnormal objects. The reliability and operability of laser vibrometry technologyhave been verified through the actual engineering projects, demonstrating the advantages of non?contactand remote measurement capabilities of laser vibrometry technology.
